Hashbrown Casserole

Ingredients

30 oz. Bag Frozen Hash Browns We use Mr. Dell's
8 oz. Tubs Toasted Onion Dip AE... Always AE :)
10.5 oz. Can Campbell's Cream Of Mushroom Soup Any "Cream of..." soup will work
10.5 oz. Can Campbell's Cream Of Chicken Soup Sometimes we use 2 Cream of Chicken and Mushroom
Bag Cheddar Cheese (2 cups - 3 if you are feeling cheesy)
Cups Corn Flakes  
Stick Butter  
  Gallon Sized Zip-Lock Bag Freezer bag works best

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Mix hash browns, soups and dips in bowl
    • I mix a little cheese in too... maybe half a cup.
  3. Spread in 9" X 13" baking dish (a deeper one is better, but any 9" X 13" should work)
  4. Top with cheese
  5. Make topping:
    1. Crush corn flakes in a Zip-Lock bag (get all of your aggression into those flakes, use a mallet, hammer, roling pin, bare fists, whatever you got.)
    2. Melt butter in microwave (cut into small cubes to aviod catastrophe)
    3. Mix butter and corn flakes in the bag
  6. Spread Corn Flake mixture on top of cheese
  7. Bake at 350° F for 1 hour

  1. Add Meat:
    • Bacon
    • Sausage
    • Ham
    • etc.
  2. Add veggies:
    • Jalapenos
    • Mushrooms
    • Onions
    • Tomatoes
    • etc.
