Iowa's Grilled Turkey Tenderloin Marinade


1      lb.Turkey tenderloinscut in half
1/4CupDry sherryor red wine
1/4CupSoy sauce 
1/4CupVegetable oil 
2      Tbsp.Lemon juice 
2      Tbsp.Instand minced onion 
        garlic powderdash
        black pepperdash


  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a container.
  2. Add turkey.
  3. Turn to coat both sides.
  4. Cover and refrigerate several hours, turning occasionally.
  5. Grill tenderloins over hot heat 6 to 8 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  6. Turkey is done when no longer pink and the meat thermometer reaches 170° in the thickest part of the turkey.
