Pasta Milano

Ingredients

Pasta Milano

6      oz butter 
18      ozgrilled chickensliced
12      oz sun-dried tomatoes(optional)
12      ozmushroomssliced (raw)
6      Tbsp Parmesan cheesefinely grated
36      ozroasted garlic cream sauce*Recipe Follows*
36      ozbowtie pasta(about 6 oz. per serving) *

Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce

1      quart heavy cream 
1      head garlicroasted
1/2tsp black pepperfreshly ground
3      Tbsp fresh parsleycoarsely chopped
2      tsp salt 
1      cup Parmesan cheesegrated


Directions

Pasta Milano

  1. Cook the pasta as directed on package.
  2. Meanwhile, sauté butter and mushrooms about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the roasted garlic cream sauce and Parmesan; heat thoroughly.
  4. Remove pasta from water and drain.
  5. Add pasta to the sauté pan and mix well.
  6. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and Italian parsley sprig.

Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce

  1. In a blender, process cream and roasted garlic until smooth
  2. In a large saucepan, combine garlic cream, pepper, and 2 Tbsp of the parsley
  3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add salt and Parmesan to mixture, stir until sauce has thickened.

* This recipe actually works better with 1 Box of Bowtie pasta (~16 oz)
