PJ's Meatball Sub Casserole (MBSC)


If using frozen meatballs skip these 2 ingredients
1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs Seasoned
3       Tbsp Parmesan Cheese  
If using frozen meatballs only 1 lb. of beef is needed
2       lbs. Ground Beef  
If using frozen meatballs the rest of the ingredient list is the same
1       Loaf Italian Bread Cut into 1/2 inch pieces
8       oz Cream Cheese Softened - Room temperature is best.
1/2 Cup Mayo  
1       tsp Italian Seasoning  
2       Cups Mozzarella  
1       Jar (28oz)Spaghetti Sauce Prego
1       Cup Watter  
2       Cloves Garlic Minced


NOTE - If you want to use frozen meatballs, buy about 2 dozen and skip ahead to Step 4.
Since frozen meatballs are pre-cooked, baking time should remain the same.
  1. Mix:
    Bread crumbs
    1 lb. Beef
  2. Make into Balls
  3. Bake @ 400 ° for 15 - 20 minutes

    ---Start Here With Frozen Meatballs---
  4. Lay out bread in a 13x9 pan
  5. Mix:
    Cream cheese
  6. Spread over bread
  7. Sprinkle with 1/2 Cup Mozzarella
  8. Mix:
    1 lb. Beef (cooked)
  9. Place meatballs evenly in pan
  10. Pour Sauce/Meat/Water mixture over meatballs
  11. Sprinkle remaining Mozzarella evenly over pan
  12. Bake @ 350° for 30 minutes
